1 Month, 1001 Craziness

Remember last month when I said 2017 is going to be an interesting/exciting year and my post's title described it (almost) perfectly?

Well guess what?

It's the last day of February, & boy... let me tell you this: it was a month full of insane moments, within Malaysia & abroad!

Alright, let's cut to the chase. Since there were so many stuff that happened within our country alone for the past 4 weeks, I'll just include the events that I can remember.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The one who we wished wouldn't be back home
He was chased away from Canada after spending 24 years in prison for sexually assaulting hundreds (or maybe thousands) of woman in Toronto. Since the news of his release was made known to the public, many had expressed their deepest concern about their safety. Many, unsurprisingly, detested his return. Even his footsteps were banned from having any contact with Borneo.
He currently lives with his family somewhere in the Klang Valley & according to them, Silva has repented. Let's just hope that he really has.
The one who was 'pranked' to death
Entering mid-February, our nation was (once again) being the center of international news following the death of a man at KLIA2. Now, if this man was just a regular tourist, it would be just another short clipping you see in the 'Sorotan Berita Dunia' segment. Unfortunately, it was a Korean. More specifically, a North Korean, & more specifically, the brother of the North Korean leader.
especially if you think all the 'Kim Jong's in this world only end with a 'Kook'
While investigation by PDRM is still being done, the craziest findings so far from this case is when 1 of the suspects caught said that she was paid to smear a liquid to his face as part of a 'TV prank show'. Apakah? 😑
The one who crashed into 'Le Tour de Nuit'
Just 30 minutes away from Singapore, a tragic accident happened around 3 in the morning when a car hit 9 teenagers who were riding bicycles in the middle of an empty main road near downtown Johor Bahru.
While a number of allegations were made from both sides of the parties involved, it was still a devastating reality to witness. Condolences to those who were affected by the kids' demise.
     When talking about events that occurred outside of Malaysia currently, one would have no choice but to include the U.S. into the conversation. However, I will not talk about President Trump - the two words that, according to John Oliver, will continue to sound unnatural together 😜. I'll instead touch about how an envelope can change history (& her-story).
The one who made a 'Ha Ha Land' moment
By the time I wrote about this, I'm sure the entire world had already knew about this incident. In case you don't know what I'm referring to, 'enjoy' the following video.
The entire audience, both inside the Dolby Theatre & around the world were in sudden confusion when the above event took the center stage. For people like me who could only be informed of the live update via Twitter, it was even more confusing. The moment I knew what had actually happened, my first thought was, "it's Miss Universe all over again". In my own words, I would say this:
the ending of La La Land has turned into the ending for La La Land.
Haih, macam-macam lah.
So, that was it. What else do you think the craziest thing that happened within the month of February? Let me know at the comment section below, OK?
Let's keep the crazy momentum going on for the coming months (especially March 😁). Chao.
